About
Born in Louisville, KY and raised in Singapore, Joshua is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree at Berklee College of Music with a double major in Game & Interactive Media Scoring and Music Business (Management). He is best known for community building and assembling student-run productions from the ground up under tight production timelines. Joshua believes in the importance of versatility in the ever-changing industry and embarking on a lifelong learning journey through constant self-reflection and questioning. As a firm believer of strength through unity, he seeks to develop his skills to contribute meaningfully, and understand new ones to bridge communications between coworkers stemming from different fields of study.
Joshua grew up as a classically-trained pianist and violinist who dedicated most of his early years towards building a strong foundation in music theory, analysis and practices. When he joined his high school Symphonic Band as a percussionist, he was introduced to the joy of collaborative and collective music-making. His past experiences and mentorship guide his values and actions in college as he leads multiple orchestras and productions. Joshua is currently diving deeper into technology with coding, digital audio workstations, and audio middleware to boost creative processes and productivity in his works.
